Sonya Khan

My name is Sonya Khan, and I am a self-taught performance artist who has gained recognition for my live dance performances and stage presence across multiple clubs and venues throughout the UK. I have also become an online viral sensation, amassing over one million views on TikTok.

What began as a small step into the world of entertainment has completely transformed my life for the better. Dance has been a childhood passion of mine that I never imagined I would get to pursue as an adult, but following my heart has truly shaped me into the person I am today.

Currently, I perform at Spearmint Rhino Birmingham, where I’m known affectionately as the bellydancing girl. One of my recent highlights was hosting my own show in collaboration with an event organiser, bringing a creative vision to life live for an audience—an experience I found incredibly rewarding.

However, my proudest achievement remains winning an award at school for a tribute performance to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” That moment, I believe, was the true beginning of the artist I have become.
